Come and celebrate the start of the farming year with us and experience a real life working farm.

Visit the sheep sheds to see lots of new mums with their lambs, and if you are lucky… you may even see one pop into the world at the ‘maternity wing’! Farmer Babs and her team are on hand to answer any questions you may have… she may even let you have a quick cuddle with a lamb! Along the way, keep your eyes peeled for other fun activities on the farm. Finish your visit at ‘The Hungry Farmer’s Cafe’ where you can enjoy a yummy treat! It’s the perfect day out for all the family.

We encourage you to pre-book to avoid disappointment.

IMPORTANT – please read for more details and frequently asked questions.

  • Cash Tickets will be available on the gate subject to availability. To guarantee tickets please pre-book.
  • Entry for children under 2 is free and no ticket is required.
  • Children MUST be supervised by an adult at all times.
  • Please DO NOT visit the lambing event if pregnant. It is not recommended that people who are pregnant visit our lambing event as there is a small risk of human miscarriage. Pregnant women who come into close contact with sheep during lambing may risk their own health and that of their unborn child, from infections that can occur in some ewes.
  • Dogs are NOT allowed on site – with the exception of assistance dogs. We love dogs but unfortunately we can only allow assistance dogs to the lambing event. We need to ensure the welfare of our farm animals and dogs can scare sheep when they are not use to them, this can lead to miscarriage of lambs and miss mothering.
  • Wheelchair access – please be aware that this is a working farm and although most of the areas are flat, it isn’t concrete. If visiting and need wheelchair access please contact us on 07855873660 or info@slaptonlambinglive.co.uk so we can ensure your visit is as easy as possible.
  • We are a working farm and the ground is uneven, please ensure you wear suitable footwear for visiting a farm environment. Most of the event is undercover if wet, however, when moving between sheds you will be outside.
  • Please note that all tickets are non-refundable but you can transfer your ticket to another date at no extra cost if you wish via Eventbrite.
  • Our ‘Hungry Farmer’s Cafe’ will be open from 11am until 3.30pm daily so you can buy food at the event.
